My Review

Dead Sea products are always appealing because of the historically curative powers of the body of water that they are based around. However, many times the mineral components are literally drowned in glycerin, yeast extracts and other cheap, moisturizing elements that are intended to increase the volume of a product but actually simply result in the dilution of active ingredients. In the case of Ahava Mineral Beauty Serum, however, the massive benefits of Dead Sea water are focused and nearly pure. The only additive in the serum is a series of fruit-based acids. These penetrate the skin to release dead cells, a process which actually makes your skin more receptive to the minerals in the beauty serum. Furthermore, the minerals in Dead Sea water and mud could not be more perfectly combined to treat aging skin. They include calcium, which has been proven to cause skin to regenerate faster when it is applied topically, magnesium which provides UV protection and creates stronger and more resilient collagen, and potassium, which causes skin to hold its shape. Ahava products receive nearly universally positive reviews, and people who use one product almost always turn into repeat customers. It's a shame that there is no way to buy Ahava products directly from the source, but the proven benefits are definitely worth the risk you run by buying a product from an outside source.
