While the BABOR cream has some amazing properties, you need to be very sure about what you hope it will accomplish before you buy as it does have a few potential drawbacks.

This cream is designed specifically for dry, damaged skin. If you are hoping to prevent damage or do not have the right skin type, then the cream may not accomplish much for you.
There is no return policy for this product unless the packaging is in tact and the company deems it “resalable.”

My Review

The BABOR Advanced Biogen Intensive Repair can accomplish many wonderful things. It can heal serious, horrible scars in literally a matter of days. It can alleviate and even halt the progression of psoriasis. It can even ease the pain, discoloration and itching of chronically dry, damaged skin. Unfortunately, it does not appear to have much effect on the more traditional signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles and furrows.

Even the contents of the cream are far more effective on skin conditions rather than on regular aging. Royal jelly, sesame and corn germ oil and cocoa butter, the only officially-released active ingredients, are definitely restorative and nourishing compounds.

However, they do not directly impact the resilience of the skin but rather protect it naturally from the sun while seriously increasing hydration and the potential to retain moisture. While these things are certainly beneficial in the fight against aging, a product that claims to repair the damage caused by aging should do more against the signs.

Unofficial ingredients in the "exclusive complexes" include rosemary and ginseng, which smooth and tighten skin, and fumitory, a purifying plant. Again, while these are definitely good ingredients for any anti aging product, alone they are not in any way groundbreaking or particularly known for fast, sure effects.

If you have seriously dry skin that has been literally damaged – as in scarring or another type of wound remnant or a chronic skin condition – then this cream will likely be the answer to your prayers. It has a wonderful reputation in these areas despite the company's no returns policy, the highly specific target skin-type and a general vagueness about how and why the product actually works.

However, if you are looking for something to repair your body's naturally occurring signs of aging, it may be a good idea to keep on looking.
