My Review

This product is a serious player in the anti-wrinkle industry. It contains one of the highest concentrations of vitamin C available, and that makes it extremely attractive. However, this also means that you must use care when you are using this product, and that you must follow the instructions to a “T” in order to avoid damaging your skin rather than beautifying it. This particular serum also contains a number of moisturizers and natural extracts like reservatrol, a grapevine derivative, that are intended to brighten and soothe skin as you use the serum. These also help achieve the smoothing and toning promised by the manufacturer.

When it works – and it often does – this serum is hard to beat. However, you will have to allot a serious portion of your budget to acquiring the serum and the necessary products to use with it, and you should not use it if your only real problem is discoloration, as that is not the main focus of the ingredients even though it does alleviate minor problems. Also, you will need to be very careful that you monitor your skin for redness and breakouts, as some Cellex-C users have serious reactions to the high concentrations of vitamin C.
