Cellex-C High-Potency Serum

Cellex-C High-Potency Serum is a golden-colored serum that helps to rejuvenate the skin by increasing elasticity. It is intended for all skin types, though people with oily, acne-prone skin may find it most suitable. Cellex-C claims the product will make all users look five to 10 years younger.

My Rating is: 3/5

My Review

I have been mostly impressed with recent products that have high quantities of vitamin C; however, I am really on the fence about Cellex-C High-Potency Serum. Usually, a product is outweighed by either the drawbacks or benefits. In this case, I saw equal parts good and bad.

Let it be known that there are some users who have been loyal to Cellex-C High-Potency Serum for years and claim outstanding results. If you are just recently noticing the first signs of wrinkles, this could very well stop them in their tracks for awhile. Like so many others, unfortunately, I experienced an unfortunate side effect with the Cellex-C High-Potency Serum… if I applied too thick of a coat, I looked orange.

If you don't have fair skin, then you probably won't ever have an issue with the orange residue. Don't worry — it isn't permanent, even if you do. It merely washes off. I can look past a bit of an orange face at bedtime, frankly. However, an orange face at $100 per bottle is a bitter pill to swallow. Then again, I did see some improvements in my wrinkles after a few weeks. Like I said, there are good and bad points to this product.

The bottom line is, this is actually a very healthy treatment for the skin. It is rich in vitamin C, rather than a host of dangerous chemicals. In the long run, this may be one of the wiser choices among anti-aging serums. If you have acne-prone or oily skin and want to see some improvements in your wrinkles, then this could very well be the serum for you. Just keep in mind that it is a bit pricey and fair-skinned users may go to bed looking like Oompa Loompas.
