Juvena of Switzerland Time Stop Laser Anti-Wrinkle Stick

by Samantha on August 10, 2008

Juvena of Switzerland Time Stop Laser Anti-Wrinkle StickThis unique “laser” stick from Juvena of Switzerland is intended to be a safe alternative to soft-laser wrinkle treatments. The powerful peptides found in the stick applicator actually stimulate the skin’s production of collagen, elastin, fibronectin and GAGs.

My Review

Juvena of Switzerland produced a mouthful with the Time Stop Laser Anti-Wrinkle Stick. Funny name aside, I was very happy with this product. It contains biomimetic peptides that boost the elastic properties in your skin. This is a cutting-edge ingredient for over-the-counter creams and I much prefer products with collagen boosters. Fine lines and deep wrinkles become much smoother as a result.

I applied the Time Stop Laser Anti-Wrinkle Stick under my make-up in the morning and noticed an immediate difference. My skin was smoother, suppler and looked younger as soon as I helped the cream out a bit with some foundation. It was late afternoon before I felt the need to touch up the cream and I was happy that it could simply be applied over my make-up and still work.

Although I think this is an effective spot treatment for wrinkles around the eyes and mouth, this stick isn’t really designed for all-over treatment. This isn’t a drawback of the cream but the applicator itself. I know it is being marketed as an alternative to laser treatment, but the “laser” applicator is a bit silly. It should just be packaged in a big jar if you ask me. When I used it the first time, I must have twisted the applicator 30 times before any product came out!

Still, I think this is a good wrinkle cream that you can toss in your purse for periodic touch ups.
