Lancome High Resolution Intensive Recovery Anti Wrinkle Cream promises prompt elastin renewal and a brighter eye area within four weeks of beginning regular applications. While the name leaves the main focus out, the primary purpose of this cream is to eliminate and alleviate fine lines and wrinkles in the eye area while creating velvety smooth skin in this region that is prone to “crepe paper” and dryness.

The recovery cream comes in a beautiful silver relief jar. Apply it to your face and, if you wish, neck once in the morning and again just before bed. My Review

When a cream promises that it will renew my eye area, I want that cream to fill two requirements:

1. I want it to fix my eyes.
2. I don’t want it to hurt my eyes in the process!

Sadly, this Lancome cream does not fill either bill, much less both. Not only does the cream not alleviate puffiness, lines or discoloration in the eye area, but it actually can cause some pretty serious pain while it is not accomplishing these goals. Lancome is a great company, and I am disappointed in this product as much because it is not worthy of the manufacturer as anything.

If you use this cream, use it as a general moisturizer rather than an eye treatment. It is a really fantastic moisturizer that leaves less sensitive skin feeling smooth and soft, just as promised. However, if 59 dollars is a little steep for a supplemental moisturizer, then you may prefer to keep looking rather than investing in this risky business.
