My Review

I had never heard of Leaf & Rusher until recently and that's because it's a posh company that operates out of Beverly Hills. Their products only recently became widely available to the public, which is when I started to hear the name come up in conversations. Apparently, this is a favored brand amongst some of the biggest names in entertainment. Now that I've used a bottle, I can see why!

At $118, the price of the Active Serum is not cheap. Trust me, this is not a huge bottle, so you might get a bit nervous when it first arrives in the mail. However, it only takes one pump or two per treatment and you won't use it every day once you start the regimen. Therefore, one bottle can go a long way — phew!

The Active Serum is Leaf & Rusher's signature product. It includes retinol, which is activated by the natural moisture in your skin. There is also a Vitamin C formula and other beneficial extracts in the serum. All of these key ingredients are formulated to improve your skin's tone, texture and firmness. The latter is what I noticed the most. My aging skin is getting a bit saggy in areas and it quickly firmed up within a few uses of the product.

Retinol is a great ingredient for anti-aging products, as it helps to boost your skin's natural elasticity. The lines around my eyes and mouth were diminished within a few weeks of using the serum and my skin's texture and tone was improved even before that. If you are trying to obtain the perfect movie-star skin you see on the red carpets, this is a great start. (Of course, using a professional make-up artist also helps.)

Leaf & Rusher does not offer a money-back guarantee but their reputation encouraged me to try out the Active Serum anyway. Honestly, there were times when I didn't even feel the need to wear make up while using this serum. It really evens out the skin and makes it glow. I also noticed an improvement in blemishes. Since I do have the occasional breakout, I love products that take care of wrinkles and acne all at once! This product is highly recommended and well worth the money if you can fit it into your budget.
