My Review

Although I am more concerned about wrinkles than sagging skin, Matis' Essential Firming Cream caught my attention recently, so I decided to try it out. I have used many skin creams from Matis Paris in the past and although this is a high-end product, it is actually much less expensive than some of the brand's other creams. This alone made me predisposed to like the product.

The texture is very frothy and creamy, which feels great on the skin. Like all of the other products I have used from Matis, the scent was also nice and light. This makes it almost therapeutic to rub into one's skin at the end of the day. Luckily, the jar is a generous size, so I felt that I could liberally apply the product a few times a day. One caveat about Matis' Essential Firming Cream: you probably won't see any major anti-aging results at first. Although it should instantly moisturize your skin, the firming action and wrinkle treatment really takes a week or two. I saw a definite improvement in my crow's feet and smile lines after using the cream for a week. This, coupled with softer skin, made me look at least a few years younger. I also thought my skin really glowed while using the cream.

I think this is an effective moisturizer and anti-aging treatment for most skin types. Whether you are just now seeing the first signs of aging or have extensively damaged skin, this should help to hydrate and firm your face. I highly recommend the Essential Firming Skin and I have yet to try a Matis Paris product that didn't live up to its reputation.
