MD SkinCare Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel

The MD SkinCare Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel has really been making the rounds. It has appeared in all sorts of magazines, receiving coverage in Allure, InStyle, and Lucky. The reason that this little box of “packettes” is getting so much attention is truly groundbreaking: each little swipe is “two minutes of microexfoliation without recovery time.” The face peel removes debris from the surface of the skin, resulting in a firmer, smoother, more even complexion and a luminous look that lasts all day long so that you look like you just left the spa even if all you really did was duck into the bathroom for 120 seconds.
These MD skincare swipes are easy to use once you get used to them, but you do need to be sure to follow the directions exactly in order to get the best results. Use the face peel once a day, or twice at most.
Apply the first swipe to clean, dry skin. The pad will be labeled “step 1.” Sweep the pad across your face from the forehead to the neck in semicircular strokes, avoiding contact with the eyes and lips. Continue these sweeping motions until the pad feels dry. Wait two minutes. Stroke the “step 2” pad over the face the same way as the first. Do not rinse your face afterward or use products containing alcohol on your face. Let your face dry completely, then apply moisturizer.
My Rating is: 4/5

My Review
These little facials are incredible. After two minutes and a little moisturizer, you really do look like you just came out of the spa. And unlike a lot of similar products, the effects actually do last all day – as much as ten to twelve hours in some cases. You do have to be careful because your “new” look will be so addictive, but if you can hold yourself to one treatment a day, that 125 dollars doesn’t look nearly so bad since the purchase will last you two months, which takes the cost down to 60 dollars a month.
Soothing botanicals calm redness and irritation in skin while the exfoliates clean out and minimize pores. Over time, if you use this product consistently, you will notice that your skin is firmer and your wrinkles have dramatically decreased. Some people experience mild stinging until their skin becomes accustomed to the treatment, and a few people occasionally get breakouts when they stop using the product. However, it is highly unlikely that you will ever want to stop looking this good once you start!
