The Osmotics Anti-Aging Trilogy is a group of treatments designed to be used in tandem to protect and fortify your skin against aging. The Trilogy contains Osmotics’ Blue Copper 5 Firming Elasticity Repair, the Kinetin Cellular Revival Serum and the Crème de l’Extreme. These three products work together to repair, rejuvenate and defend skin against fine lines, wrinkles and sun damage.

The Copper 5 cream uses a copper peptide to eliminate discoloration from skin. It also contains almond and shiitake mushroom extracts to keep skin looking firm and young.

Next, the Kinetin serum employs a “plant growth factor complex” to create new, younger looking skin cells. The serum also contains jojoba and vitamin E, both of which are good for healing and protecting skin. Finally, the Crème de l’Extreme fights dehydration and dryness. The cream contains hyaluronic acid, a known “super-hydrator.”

The components of the Trilogy are intended to be applied consecutively twice a day after cleansing. They can comprise their own regimen or be part of Osmotics’ larger 5-step anti-aging routine*.

Drawbacks:

The Osmotics Anti-Aging Trilogy is produced by a highly reputable company with a great history of treating a wide variety of skin conditions. However, before you invest in this product, consider the following:

Many people who use the Trilogy feel that it works best when used with at least two separate Osmotics products.
Using the trilogy can be very time consuming as you must wait for each treatment to be absorbed before moving on to the next step.

Benefits:

Osmotics has a great reputation among skin care lines. However, they can be very pricey. This Trilogy can be a great way to save money by buying the treatments as a set (the Copper 5 cream alone costs $75.00 outside of the Trilogy). There are also some other things to consider:

The entire regimen is extremely soothing and luxurious.
The entire brand contains many types of extracts and other ingredients known to benefit your skin regardless of type and age.
The Trilogy also alleviates the symptoms of rosacea and eczema and can eliminate the problems in some users.

Price: $125.00 for all three products.This includes 1 ounce of the Blue Copper 5 cream, 1 fluid ounce of the Kinetin Serum and 1 ounce of the Crème de l’Extreme.

Osmotics does not have an official guarantee for the Anti-Aging Trilogy. However, they do have a “position statement” on the official website which reads: “Osmotics will strive to develop and produce the highest quality cosmeceuticals, featuring breakthrough, proven technologies and more of the award winning products that have defined Osmotics as the leader in Cosmeceutical Skincare.” Many vendors will take the product back if you suffer an allergic reaction or other difficulty, but you should check with a representative before you make your purchase.*The Osmotics Anti-Aging Trilogy is no longer available directly from the Osmotics Cosmeceutical Company. Osmotics officially recommends that you either purchase the products individually or use the Osmotics Anti-Radical Age Defense System instead. However, the Trilogy is still available from many vendors.

My Review

The Osmotics Anti-Aging Trilogy is, at the very least, a really good buy. In fact, it would not surprise me if the main reason that Osmotics stopped selling it as a set is that the individual products are in such high demand that it simply does not make good business sense to continue selling them at such a bargain. Furthermore, Osmotics still carries all the components of the Trilogy, so there is no reason to be concerned that the company discovered something in their research that did not reflect well on the products.

When it comes to groundbreaking treatments, the Trilogy definitely fits the bill. Copper 5, Kinetin and almond extract are all thought to potentially be able to reverse aging. Copper peptides have been shown to promote internal growth and healing when taken orally. Almonds contain hormones that your body stops producing naturally sometime between the ages of 20 and 25. Kinetin is a hormone that causes plants to grow.

All in all, this information seems to indicate that using this Trilogy will boost your skin in any number of different and innovative ways. However, there is, as yet, no conclusive evidence for any of this although the Mayo clinic has released a statement that is, at the very least, encouraging concerning the use of kinetin in anti-aging treatments.

If you’re interested in trying out some Osmotics products, this is probably the best way to determine if you’d like them. Many users report positive results on their rosacea and eczema after using the Trilogy, but there is much less evidence to support the anti-aging claims. You may find that you have very soft skin after using this product but not visible wrinkle reduction or firming. However, most users do report some improvement in the span of about a week of use, so you still will have time to try it out under most vendors’ guarantees before returning it if you decide to do so.
