My Review

SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex has become very popular recently, which prompted me to try it for myself. I have seen television commercials with Bo Derek talking about how she uses and approves of the product. Although celebrity endorsements don't usually win me over, she seemed very sincere and I can't argue with how good she looks for her age. So, I decided to purchase a bottle for myself.

This cream is not cheap, though the most highly recommended products often aren't. That, combined with the horrible smell, made me think twice about my investment. The company describes this smell as a "mild citrus scent." That is a very forgiving description of the smell, as you may discover for yourself. However, rest assured that the smell will dissipate once it dries. SkinMedica also recommends you use their Dermal Repair cream in order to mask the scent.

After using the TNS Recovery Complex for several days, I soon forgot all about the smell. There is definitely a reason why SkinMedica is so confident about something that may put you off at first – it really works! My skin looked and felt firmer, younger and healthier within a few treatments. It is not a permanent effect, unfortunately, but definitely lasts for about 12 hours each time you apply. I was pleasantly surprised and would actually use it regularly if it were a little less expensive.

If you can fit this product into your budget, it's worth a try. The lines around my eyes and mouth were much less apparent while I used the cream and virtually gone once I applied makeup over it. The directions suggest that you use it in the morning and evening, though you may be able to cut it down to once a day in order to stretch the bottle out further.
