My Review

When I think of effective anti-aging products, the word "natural" does not come to mind. After all, it is nature that I am trying to battle when I use these creams! I did, however, decide to give Sundari Firming Gotu Kola and Geranium Moisturizer a shot. This cream has built up a strong buzz and many people who use it say they will never use anything else.

The first thing I noticed about this product is its price – it seemed a bit high for something that mainly uses "Ayurvedic wisdom." Okay, confession time: I have no idea what "Ayurvedic" means, which might explain why I was surprised by the price. Still, I bought a bottle and was pleasantly surprised. The scent is lovely and the cream goes on easily without leaving a greasy film. After one use, I already noticed a difference in my complexion. It made my skin glow immediately.

Although I like this product strictly as a moisturizer, I have found plenty of other effective moisturizers that cost less. What I was really looking for was a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. After a week, I did notice some smoothing around my eyes, forehead and mouth. I would not, however, call this a dramatic anti-aging product. As I initially predicted, it is a bit too gentle and natural to really turn back the hands of time.

I wouldn't call this cream a complete bust, as my skin definitely looked and felt much healthier while I used it. For those with minimal wrinkles and fine lines, this might be a perfect stand-alone product. For me, at 40-something, I just need something a little more powerful. If you are looking for a good moisturizer to use in combination with a dramatic wrinkle cream, this might be the one for you.
