• Some herbalists recommend avoiding Michelia alba leaf (Magnolia leaf) oil during pregnancy. This is one of the ingredients in the serum.

My Review

While the notion of getting the benefits of light-therapy related treatments without the hassle of light therapy are appealing, I think it’s pretty unlikely that there is much to this particular serum if you use it without the rest of the Tanda system. When I investigated the ingredients, most of the “scientific sounding” names on the list turned out to be natural fragrances rather than particularly healing or productive herbal or botanical items, and many of them like “impetiginosa bark” and “michelia leaf” are actually extremely common compounds made of almond oil and magnolia leaf.

Almond oil is quite potentially good for the skin, but it’s not groundbreaking as the advertising would have you believe, and magnolia leaf extract is most commonly found as a “bridge” scent in perfumes and has little use in an anti-aging treatment at all. Overall, if you like Tanda products already or you want to give this entire system a try, then this anti-aging serum is probably a good buy. However, used without the rest of the system, it is nearly impossible to say whether you will get visible results or not. It seems far more likely that this would make an excellent high-end, preventative treatment, but it appears to offer little in the way of repairs.
