Thalgo’s wrinkle fighting research is generally acknowledged to be groundbreaking. However, there are some things to consider before you invest in this particular serum.

The serum has an extremely strong fragrance.
It does not necessarily eliminate deep, weathered wrinkles, although it does diminish fine lines.
The serum is intended to be used in conjunction with three other Thalgo Thalgogive products at a minimum, so using it alone may not produce optimum results.

My Review

Thalgo marine research relies heavily on innovative uses of algae to stimulate the body to produce compounds that will make the skin more useful. However, this research may leave something to be desired depending on your anti-aging goals. While the plumping and hydrating action is extremely effective and appealing, if you are suffering from serious weather damage, such as deep wrinkles, then simply firming up your skin may not be enough to make a noticeable difference. Used along or with the recommended companion products, this serum is great for people who are starting to notice early signs of aging like fine lines and slight sags where there used to be none, but it may not pack the restorative punch that many people are looking for in a wrinkle treatment.

Also, bear in mind that the fragrance, while pleasant, is quite strong, and you will not only not need to wear additional perfume, but it will certainly aggravate latent allergies if you have any. All in all, this serum is definitely worth a shot if you are not dealing with serious age signs and focusing on prevention. The product is nice because it has a much higher concentration of ingredients and more firepower than many preventative products that are designed for early aging rather than mature skin. However, if you are looking into major repair or rejuvenation, then this may not be the product for you.
